Year of the Ox

Happy New Year! It's Chinese New Year already in certain parts of the world. The new year is the year of the Ox. Yeah! I can't wait. Last year, the year of the Rat, has not been kind. Besides worldwide financial crisis, asset evaporation on a personal level, the ugly Rat has brought unusual weather conditions to different parts of the world. Of course, there are some people who had a tremendous year last year. Congrats. Anyway, I just wish that the Ox will bring more stability to everyone.
I looked up some stuffs online about the year of the Ox - Ox years are conservative years of tradition and value. They are slow and steady years but will bring stability and growth where patience and diligence will pay off. My interpretation is: same old thing, work hard and hope for the best!
As to people born in the year of the Ox - they are patient but stubborn, pragmatic, motivated, hardworking and honest. They inspire confidence in others and take their responsibilities seriously. Ok, take your pick, at least one should apply, right?
Have a good year, everyone!

  3. Cute Ox! Where do you find all these nice pictures!
In the Western world (where we are), Ox represents wealth (e.g. bull market) and strength. Will be a good year!
BTW, some mice are nice, pretty and famous such as the Minnie and Mickey Mouse. Mice are known to be clever creatures. My daughter is born in the year of Mouse :-)
