I suppose I could talk about the man of the hour - Mr. O, but not really. He is his own man, the doors are open for him, the timing is right and the people are willing. The rest is up to him. Not that it is that simplistic. I remember one of my professors told his class once that if you ask 10 people about 1 idea, there would be at least 12 opinions. 2-3 people would have more than 1 opinion. So how does one get a concensus or even a majority? There are many ways, but I don't get paid to figure these things out, so whatever.
This morning when I tried to dress up for work, I found one of my contacs was torn. Having no spare lenses, I had to go out with my glasses. Other than a strange sense of distortion in perception, I felt totally fine. In my younger days, I am sure I would have felt awkward or felt other people was staring at me. Putting on some years somehow gave me a confidence of being who I am. Most people can't help the way they look. Other people stare at you because there aren't anything else interesting to look at or out of total boredom. Time has a way of making things, especially other people's opinion, irrelevant.
WOW. Your hard contact lens got torn? That's no good...
ReplyDeleteI like how you build up and seem like you will have a solution to a big problem, then you say you don't get paid to solve it. Funny one! WOW.
