Here is a picture of my pal JJ. He sometimes pulls his ears backward when he sees something he's not familiar with right in his face. In this case, it's my handy dandy camera.
Like some of us in the family, he is a foodie. Will do anything for food. And lives a storybook dog's life-eat, sleep and cause trouble at other people's expense.
He is quite a character. Yesterday, while I was taking a nap in my bed, he casually jumped up on one of our sofa chairs and did not move for the rest of the evening. He usually goes on the sofa only when one of us is on it. So I called him to get off which he totally ignored. I said 'bad dog' under my breath, he still ignored me. I was too lazy to do anything else, so I let it be. However, I know he did sense my disapproval because this morning he stayed in his own bed without following me around like he usually does. Temper, temper... But his temper was shortlived. When I came home from work today, he was his usual (people dog) self again. Whew.
JJ lives for people and food :)
ReplyDeleteEm, you are soo right.
ReplyDeleteJJ is soooo cute with his ears tucked back!! He is such a food junkie. :) What a cutie pie pie pie. Say hi to JJ for me!
ReplyDeleteI have a sister who is crazy about dogs. She had one when she was young. But still, I am scared of dogs. I don't like them to jump up and climb on me -- very scary! However, JJ is different because I learned the magic word "sit". Whenever JJ is excited and prepared to jump up on me, I said, "sit" and he listened. Why? I trained him well. I gave him food only after he sat still after I said the word "sit". The trick works only for food junkle dog.
