Wow guys, if we ever employ this device to wash our clothes with toilet water, we might as well not shower. But seriously, technological advances have touch our lives in more ways than one.
The internet has revolutionize the way we obtain information, communicate with other people and entertain ourselves. Most of us will not travel anywhere without our laptop, blackberries or other cell phone devices.
When I was growing up, the TV was an amazing innovation. Then came the fax machine, the PC and the microwave ... But all in all, I think the internet is the ultimate innovation that keeps changing the way we live.
What is your favorite innovation or latest cutting edge technology? My favorite innovation is the fax machine. It's still quite amazing to me how you can run a piece of paper through it and it comes out exactly the same way miles and miles away.
My vote: The internet... the great Sir Tim Berners Lee
ReplyDeleteWhat is that? Is it really a toilet /laundry duo?
ReplyDeleteI'd say the internet too =)
My favorite innovation is the bed. Without it, no one will get a good night of sleep. Without a good night of sleep, you can forget about the other inventions. Definately the bed, nothing even come close.
ReplyDeletethere is a saying that necessity is the mother of all invention. i wonder who was sitting around thinking, i really need to find a way to was my clothes in toilet water ...
ReplyDeletecell phone is a pretty great invention. remember when we had to memorize everyone's phone number? now we keep everything on our phones. i think i'd be lost without mine.
I think you got it the other way around. Reuse the washing water for toilet. I often use the water after washing veggie for gardening :-)
ReplyDeleteI like green, you know.
Hey Puzzled, pardon my ignorance, who is that dude SIR Tim Berners Lee?
ReplyDeleteI say endoscopic equipment. It changes the way we practice medicine. Saves lives with minimal discomfort.
ReplyDeleteTim Berners Lee is the genius who invented the world wide web. We are using his 'invention" right this second!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed, thanks. British or Chinese?
ReplyDeleteChinese would have been better but no, he is a brit. : (
