More Money Making Ideas

We all know that the State of California is on the verge of bankruptcy. So Arnie came up with these great ideas -
Selling the LA Coliseum - hm, I think this will be great investment for SC. They can run it better than the state, and raising capital to buy it is no big deal. Just raise tuition on the students. They should be used to it by now.
Selling San Quentin - the old jail house, erh, pass on this one.
Selling parking meters on the streets - now this one we can all think about. Maintenance is low and there is no parking fee control. We should all buy the parking meters on a few streets and personalize them. Imagine that!
Thank-you, Arnie.

  2. How about sell the naming right. e.g. Instead of Golden State, it can be rename to GOOGLE State. Golden Gate Bridge can be sold the name to Goldman Sach. Arnei, problem solved.

  3. Ah Fat, you got a point there. Getting $$$ without losing anything tangible. I might sell naming rights to ... my Prius, any takers?

  5. Just "terminate" his services and vote him outa office, after all he is a republican.....he might be capitalizing on the depressed real estate market, afterall he's got the $$: his numerous kids can gain down the road if he is too old to gain lol.

  6. Puzzled, I think there is an election next year. Arnie is not running, he's planning to go back to making movies. The House is controlled by dems. We've been outspending our resources for many years. Bottom line is nobody wants to pay for services they get.

  7. Liked him as an actor but not politician. Can't imagine him going back to play his old roles. Ditto here in NY....our prop tax went up by 25% last november and mass transit, tolls and sales/service tax are going up this summer. Tax rev from the financial sector has dropped drastically of course and do not see it ever going back to what it used to be. NYC just have to find any sector to fill the void.
