China Pics

This China trip to Huang Shan has been rather interesting. Because of the H1N1 threat, the Chinese government screens out visitors entering China with a fever. Anybody flying into China with a fever or sat near someone with a fever has to be quarantined.

I have been debating for a long time whether to cancel the trip. But in the end, I decided to take the chance. So off we went! When we arrived Shanghai, a group of health officials boarded the plane and checked the temperature of each individual passenger. After half an hour of near panic experience, we finally got off the plane. We were greeted by our tour driver who informed us that another plane which arrived the same time we did never got off. Our tour as it turned out consisted only of our family because the other people never arrived China! So we had the entire tour bus to ourselves and every meal we had were for 10 people!
