The handyman can ... the handyman can ... You remember that song? Maybe it was the candyman ... ok whatever.
Most of you might have noticed that I have been posting quite diligently in the past couple of days. Well, the reason being there is nothing else I could do. There was some leakage in my shower for quite some time now (shall we say maybe for the past 2o years?). Recently, I decided to do something about it.
I got a handyman to fix the leak and redo the dry wall, paste some tiles to cover the affected area and repaint the bathroom. We are now in day 3 and the job is still not done! Me? I have been babysitting him for the entire 3 days. I have given J- a nice bath, clean up the exhaust fan in the kitchen, swept up the garage ... and he is still not done! I knew there was a reason why I haven't fixed the leak for 20 years.
Or maybe this is a classic case of ... a stitch in time saves nine, ten, eleven ... zzzz
Think this way: you are just too efficient! You are also helping the economy - keep up the employment!
ReplyDeleteI still the saying - if it's not broken, don't fix it.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good time to repair the bathroom! It'll be all worth it in the end I am sure :) Hey, at least JJ is squeaky clean now! I wish he could come visit me at schooool....he'd love it!! Anyway, text me if you're bored :D
ReplyDeleteJen, the guy is exceedingly detail, so his work is very good. I would recommend him to anyone who is not afraid to be bored to tears.
ReplyDeletebut heyyy now it looks really good!! and we're back to see it (=
