Change You Can Believe In

Today is my day off. After breakfast, I ran my errands - bakery, bank, supermarket ... As I was driving home, I realize I go through this route exactly the same way every week. Routine or familiarity is endearing as one grows older. Same old thing has same old thing goodness.
Then I ran a couple more errands and Buddy Boy asked me where I want to lunch. Same ol', same ol' or something new? There is a restaurant we always go to every time we are in BH. Same place, same table and same angel hair pasta. It's pathetic.
Hmm, not this time. So, I asked him to pick something different. We went to this restaurant that has a real bamboo tree in the middle of the dinning room. We ordered the set lunch which begins with salmon carpaccio, main course of braised short ribs and ends with lemon meringue tarte. So good.
And this is change I can believe in and eat.

  2. omgee I LOVE carpaccio and I LOVE lemon meringue! Save this restaurant for me!! and I don't think it's pathetic if you do the same thing a lot of the time! I do the same thing and certainly eat the same things everyday here!! but I like your picture - it reminds me of Watchmen, the graphic novel I'm reading now that I love! Niice
