Spring Fling

The weather has been really nice this spring. It's perfect for outdoor activities. So what is one industrious person supposed to do? Plant beef steak tomato, of course!

One little, two little, three little tomatoes.

Well, nothing comes from nothing. These tomatoes did not come easily. Since I was on a low budget and did not have enough bees working for me, each of them had be artificially pollinated with a little paint brush!

Wait till they grow to be the size of my palm! Hmm, how good they will taste in a sandwich, salad, tomoto sauce ...

  1. Oooooo tomatoes! So these are called beef steak tomatoes? That is such a strange name. But I am sure they are yummy. I think they will go superb with a roast beef sandwich. Mmmm!

    Good job MD!

I know what you mean. No home made organic fertilizer, but I can't stop JJ from watering the plant. 8)
